I'm back from my trip. It was wonderful. Michael is all I have ever hoped for and more than I could've dreamed of. It went by too quick, but nothing could be done bout that. I have included a slide show on this post of some of the pics that were taken. I will write more about this trip later. Enjoy...

An update...
Hi Everyone,
My name is Michael, PJ's hubby. As you know, she is due to arrive in San Diego tomorrow. Currently, she is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota visiting her mother while awaiting her flight here. Hence, the reason I am making this post. I can tell you that she is extremely excited (as am I), and in fact, I am talking to her on the phone as I type this. Our newest funny is "See you tomorrow" and she cracks up now every time I say that. Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know that the plan is a go and we are green across the board. I also wanted to let you know that I have been following the dialog here on her blog and just wanted to say thanks to all of you for your support for her and, by extension, me.
To all of her Entrecard friends, I know she said she'd probably not be doing any dropping while she's here, but I assure you that most likely is not the case. I, too am on Entrecard and seeing as our blogs are connected, I can bet with some amount of certainty that one of us will be dropping cards at some point during the week.
To all of you, again, thank you very much for all of your support and I'll make sure that PJ makes a post while she's here with me. Stay tuned for pictures and reports on our time together here in San Diego, California.

Very soon....
By this time tomorrow I will be on a plane to be with my love. The anticipation is tremendous. The butterflies in my stomach are multiplying in great magnitude. My thoughts are filled with nothing else. I have waited for months to be with him and it is finally going to happen. I have no nervousness of being with him, only of the plane trip. This will be the first time that I have ever been on a plane and the unknowing of that is interfering with my happiness of being with Michael just a little. I push those thoughts away, reassuring myself that everything will be fine. Nothing is going to happen to stop us from being together.
I see him waiting for me. As I get closer my eyes start to fill with tears of joy. My body is trembling with the need to feel his arms around me, holding me tight. Our eyes connect and we become the only two people on the planet. There is no one else. As our lips meet I feel the energy we are producing can be seen throughout the universe. I melt into him. We merge together as one.
Phew...had to bring myself back down to ground level...hehehe. That is how I see our meeting. It will be truly wonderful, I know that.
To my Entrecard friends, I will be gone for a week, and I don't know if I will be able to drop cards on your blogs. I'm thinking I will be slightly preoccupied. I will, of course be back and return the drops. Thank you for stopping by.

Are you looking for a card...
Through my Entrecard inbox drops, I have noticed that there are quite a few blogs with cards that are just the default card and was thinking that maybe this might be something that someone would be interested in. Since I love messing around with my PhotoShop program I had the idea that I could make cards for bloggers who either don't know how, or don't have time, or just want something different. So I am thinking that if you would like a custom card to advertise your blog I would make you one. If there is something in particular that you are looking for you would tell me what that would be or I would just make one suitable for your blog description, let you preview it, and if it was up to your satisfication I would ask that you then toss a buck my way through a paypal button. Then I would send you the card to advertise. If anyone is interested in this please comment here.

What a shitty day! Can't it just be over! I just want to get out of here, go home, and go to bed, and hopefully when I wake up in the morning it will be better. I'm sure you all have had a day like that when nothing seems to go right and somehow, some way everything you did or said was wrong.

Bump in the Road
Great! Just when you think things are turning round for you someone has to throw a flippin wrench into the mix. First, I want to say that I try and keep my posts somewhat to the category that I selected. Sometimes I will throw other things in here tho, just because I don't want to start another blog. So if you're only looking to read stuff about romance, you will probably want to skip this one.
My boss just told me tonight that if a good opportunity comes my way I should probably think about taking it. I'm thinking to myself, yea right in BFE, what kind of opportunity is going to come my way. I said um...ok. Really, I do understand that things are pretty slow right now and the expenses are more than what is coming in. And yes, I also understand that as I am the only employee my wages are the only expense that can be cut. But geez, it is winter time, and there is nowhere in this little town that I can earn what I need to cover even my living expenses. I don't know what the hell I am going to do, but I do know that things have a way of working themselves out and that I'm not going to stress too much about it at this point. I will, of course, be keeping my eyes and ears open, and check out any possibilities.
I asked him if I still get my week paid vacation, and he said yes. So that is a good thing. I would've really flipped if I wouldn't have been able to go to California.
I believe that I am going in the right direction and following the path that I need to be right now. It is never a dull one, as there are always bends, and sometimes sharp curves, along the way. But somehow I have survived every one of them and have learned a lot along the way. Whatever is meant to be, will be.

Soldiers who protect our nation.
For their service as our warriors,
They deserve our admiration.
Some were volunteers;
For some it was just yesterday;

On land or on the sea,
They did whatever was assigned
To produce a victory.
They defended us everywhere.
Some saw combat; some rode a desk;
All of them did their share.
For low pay and little glory,
These soldiers gave up normal lives,
For duties mundane and gory.
Don’t let politics get in the way.
Without them, freedom would have died;
What they did, we can’t repay.
Who kept us safe from terror,
So when we see a uniform,

Only 2 Weeks
The days seem to be dragging on. Why is it that when you really want the time to go by fast it never does. Two weeks and I will finally be in my baby's arms! Oh how that thought touches every part of me. The warm fuzzies start slow, way deep inside, and whoosh outwards until my whole being is electrified. It has now been 9 months since we found each other and I still find it amazing that he can do that to me without ever having met him.
Watch the sky come November 24th for the fireworks, cuz I am sure you will all be able to see them the second we are together.

7 things you didn't know about me...
My kids have been my life for 24 years, and I don't see that changing any time soon.
I make my own bath/beauty products. Years ago when I was reading the ingredients on a bottle of lotion and couldn't pronounce most of the words I started researching and developed my own formula for an awesome lotion. Along with that came lip balms, facial scrub, body mist, and a few other things.
I just want the simple life. To get one of those streamline campers and just go would be ideal for me.
I once nursed 9 baby bunnies, that were without their mother, until they were ready to go out on their own.
I won a big cardboard daisy when I was in elementary school for the biggest smile...hehehe
I saw my life pass before my eyes in a matter of seconds while I was a passenger in a car that went off the road and almost into the river. There was only 1 rock holding 1 tire from going into the water. That moment, I think, changed my life.
I have lived through 2 abusive relationships and 1 rape and swore off relationships forever, until recently when I fell in love with the most wonderful man that I could ever have imagined.
Well, that's it, if you would like to know anything more, all you have to do is ask.
