Pics of the River

Been feeling blah lately. Between the menopause, the unemployment, the homesickness, and the depression that is starting to set in, I just don't have the desire to post. So I am just going to post some pics of the river that I love. I hope you enjoy them. Have an awesome day my friends!

They are beautiful lazy pictures. Would love to just look out my window in my recliner while sipping some wine.

Lovely photos! Oh and I completely know what you mean as I'm in the same boat. Some days I don't even go on the balcony of our apt much less go out in public. Unemployment and menopause are NOT a good combination!

Hi PJ,
I hope things get better for you. I get depressed over our money situation. Those are really pretty pictures of the river that you love. I could find peace there. Happy 4th of July! :-)

It sounds like you are having a rough time. My sympathies. Hopefully you'll pull yourself out of it real soon. There are so many good things in life that are truly great---it's a same to let the dark side take over.

Nice pictures. Well done.

I followed your link over from from Astro stuff in my search for new friends. I like your site and I'll be back. Meanwhile, stop by my place for a visit. Love to hear from you.

Happy trails.

Beautiful pics PJ!

I'm sorry that you're feeling so down in dumps... I know what you mean though... been there done that many times... things do get better... so hang in there!

A few things that help me is to remind myself that there are others out there who are in a worse situation.... and things could be worse.

Another way I deal with it... I close myself up in a room and turn on my favorite Stevie Nicks songs... I go into my own lil world... and sing and just cry and cry until I can't cry anymore... Stevie has gotten me through many sad times over the years.

And that glass of wine that Grampy suggested doesn't hurt any either!

So grab a glass and turn on your favorite music and have a great cry...

Feel better soon Hun...

Stunning photographs Polly. Thank you for sharing them.
I hope you feel bright today. The menopause is a nightmare and add the other stuff...then I can understand that your feeling blue.
Thinking of you.

Great pictures. I love pictures of water. And a river is one of my favorite things. Rivers make me feel comfortable.

Beautiful photos. Sorry you're feeling so down in the dumps. Menopause and unemployment are two things that should NOT happen at the same time! Hope things get better for you soon. I'll be sending loads of positive vibes your way!

U know although I dread living in the suburbs, and it's kinda feeling me depressed , it also gives me so many reasons to be grateful. So whenever I feel going to a depressed mode, I start to count my blessings and look at nature and think of God's wonderful creations. And of course what Jesus said, " Why worry about tomorrow? ..." Luke 12:22-34.
Looking at God's bountiful and beautiful creation and His promises wipe my sadness and despair immediately.
So start counting your blessings and be reminded that you are more worthy than these trees , rivers and nature.

Hi PJ

Take it easy on yourself dear. You've been through a lot of changes lately, even without the changes going on in your body. So it's no wonder you are feeling down from time to time.

It would help if your kids could come for a visit, as I imagine missing them is one big issue you're dealing with.

In between trying to get things moving a head in your life, take time for yourself to do something self nurturing and keep the self judging away.

The pictures are beautiful. I'm limited in how much I see of California, so havent' seen much of it yet. Hoping that changes as there are some lovely places worth visiting, I'm told and your pics verify that.

Take care of yourself, PJ.
