Public Apology

This post has been edited to add a previous email

I have deleted the post I wrote about Abdulrehman Agha here as he has now responded to me. Below is the email that I received from him and the response that I sent him.

First email before he read my post:

Hey PJ,

I tried to contact all sponsors but since I was running short of time I might've accidentally missed you, sorry for that. Moreover, it is very kind of you for letting know before the contest ends that you will not be sponsoring because I didn't want any participants ranting about not receiving contest prizes. Yeah, entrecard did delete my account lol! Anyways, take care and sorry for the late reply, I was out of town.

Second email after he read my post:

Just red what you blogged about me, tried posting a comment on your blog but it wouldn't accept so I'm pasting it here:

O - K!
I always thought people on digg.com were weird but now, hmphhh...
Sorry that I mis-understood your message, but I don't think that it was such a big matter to bring up on a blog post, though that didn't harm me.

I mentioned in the message I sent that the main advantage to sponsor was giving 5000 ECs for a text-link on a PR 3 website with more than 900 visitors everyday is worth itself.

I'm still thinking what you were trying to prove when you wrote: "he shouldn't mess with me". Mess with you? You got a free link on my PR 3 blog and you're thinking I'm messing with you? You got featured in a big contest and you still think I'm messing with you? I think it would be most appropriate to call it clear DISRESPECT!

To top it all, you put a picture saying 'scam', I mean WTF?! Look, I respect my elders and fellow bloggers especially people who are thrice my age. I'm not blowing at you, although you deserved a lot.

I just checked your email around 20 mins ago and sent you a polite and friendly message, but this is too much. I have a life, I'm outta here. BTW, (sarcasm)nice idea to disrepect other bloggers when you have nothing to blog about, I'll make a note of that!(/sarcasm)

My response back to him:

this whole thing got way blown out. i think there is wrong doing on both of our parts. for mine, i apologize. i will take that post off of my blog. to my defense, there was no contact after the message i sent you and then i told you that if i could come up with something i would let you know. i didn't let you know so you shouldn't have put me in as a sponsor. not to mention that you weren't stopping by my blog. then i tried contacting you after the fact and no response. what was i suppose to think? and yes, you got blasted in one of my menopausal moments and again, i apologize for that. i will take that post down and make a public apology to you, as you have now responded to me. thank you for the response.

I apologize for putting the picture up with the word scam on it. Bottom line is that I shouldn't have been put in a sponsor position without my approval. That's it.

1 Year Today

Colours!Image by natashavora via Flickr

Today is my 1 year blog anniversary! Whoo hoo! I wasn't sure when I started this that I would still be doing it a year later. It is kind of cool to be able to go back into your archives and see what was going on a year ago. I should have decorated a little with balloons and party favors for my readers, but I haven't really been in the party mode as of late. I just wanted to thank all of you for visiting me in my little corner of the world.

Reaching the crone stage

That's me...totally menopausal. I thought the hot flashes were bad, and don't get me wrong-they are, but the moodiness is going to be the cause of me getting institutionalized! With my inside body temperature hitting about 150, I will rip your head off in an instant if you so much as sneeze in my direction! This is just horrible. How is it that there are so many husbands still alive after their wife goes through this? I can't be the only one that feels like buying a new chainsaw!

And then the next minute I turn into a bawl baby! A couple days ago, I cried almost all day long! Craziness I tell you. I asked my husband to please not take it personal when I happen to snap. I have been holding it pretty well, but it was rough. I think that's where the cry baby effect took over. It's probably better to cry than to dismember someone. No jail time. And this can go on for years?!

For My Father

It's been so long yet it controls me
It's been so long and it still holds me
Been quite some time since you've left
I once blamed god and called it theft
But now I see that it was your time
Can't be selfish, your not just mine
You also belong to those above
Yet you still fill our hearts with love
I miss the laughter and times we shared
I miss the love and way you cared
I love you Daddy, I love you dear
And I'm still wishing you were here.

To Toot or not to Toot...

"Well, this is quite the conversation" I said to my husband through the laughter between us. "How's that go again?"

Him: "Toot"

The tears started filling my eyes as the laughter escalated and the snorting began.

Me: "And you?"

Him: "Rippidy dippidy doo!"

Me: "Oh my gawd! I am going to have to hold out for one of those! I'll show you."

Him: "Toot"

Me: "I can't believe that we are talking about this, isn't there anything else we can talk about?"

Him: "Toot"

Me still laughing: "Stop it, that's not how I sound"

Him through his laughter: "You have to be careful on the Rippidy dippidy doos, sometimes they're not so nice. Can be messy!"

Me hysterically: "Okay, I am done talking about our farting habits!"

Him: "Sounds like a good blog post to me."

I guess you know you're comfortable with your partner when you are able to fart in front of them and talk about it. What is left?!

Need a Laugh...please

Do you ever have days where everything just irritates the piss out of you!? I know that is a dumb question, but I'm asking it anyway. Today has been one of those days for me. I don't know why and I don't know how long this is going to last, but I do know that I am about ready to rip someones head off. I shouldn't have gone out to the stores today because that just made it worse. Rude people everywhere I went! It started at the car wash. We were waiting to get into a stall and pulled up behind this guy who was done washing his car and was drying it with a towel inside the stall. Ok, we waited for him and he saw us waiting, so you know what he did. He went over his car 3 times or more while he knew we were waiting! Duh! Go forward outside of the stall to dry your stupid car off! Then he gets into his car and starts throwing the garbage on the ground right there in the stall!!! What a flippin asshole! Of course after we pulled into the stall I proceeded to pick up all of his garbage, couldn't just leave it all there.

Then we went to get some things for Tati to make a flower crown for her play on Tuesday and people were everywhere acting like they owned the aisles. I swear I said excuse me 100 times in the hour we were gone! I think I just need to be alone for the rest of the day.

I'm asking you for your funniest joke, story, or whatever to help me get out of this crappy mood. Believe me, I have tried to just shrug it off but it just seems to be getting worse.

HELP...........Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase!!

This and that

I got my new glasses from Zenni last week and they are perfect! I can't believe how well I can see now. I had to surrender to getting bifocals, but what the hell. It didn't take very long to get used to them. I just have to remember not to look down and try to walk...hehehe. The whole purchase only cost me 57 bucks compared to over 400 at the optometrists! So now if I want to I can order another pair! Whoo hoo!! I am hoping that this will relieve the pains in my head that I have been having. So far, so good.

We have most of the work done on the house. Let's see...painted Tati's room, laid the flooring down in her room and the front room, built the deck and roof, garage door half done. We need to finish painting the rest of the outside of the house and then I think we are done.

Still no job, but still looking. Still wanting to go to school, but don't think I should start this year. I will be going back to South Dakota in November to be there for the birth of my first grandbaby and I don't think I should start school before then. I don't know if I will be able to leave my new grandbaby. That is going to be the question.

So that is a little rambling for you. Thought it was about time I wrote something here. Until next time...
